AbsenceNudge

AbsenceNudge is a web app with optional mobile companion for K-12 schools that turns raw attendance into actionable, early interventions. It connects to common SIS sources (via CSV import or supported integrations) and flags students trending toward chronic absenteeism using simple, transparent rules (not black-box predictions). Staff can log outreach attempts, schedule follow-ups, and generate parent-friendly messages in multiple languages with an AI assist that stays on-script and policy-safe. The app focuses on operational reality: messy data, limited staff time, and the need for audit trails. It provides weekly “who to contact next” queues, reason-code tracking, and lightweight reports principals actually use. This is not a full SIS replacement; it’s a narrow layer that helps schools reduce absenteeism with consistent workflows and documentation.
