AccentForge

AccentForge is a mobile + web AI language-learning app focused narrowly on pronunciation and intelligibility, not generic vocabulary lessons. Users record short phrases, and the app pinpoints the 1–3 phonemes and prosody issues that most reduce clarity (stress, vowel length, consonant clusters). It then generates 60–120 second “micro-drills” with minimal pairs, rhythm tapping, and shadowing clips matched to the user’s native language interference patterns. Progress is measured with a consistent weekly benchmark script so improvements are visible and not just “feels better.” The app also includes “real-life mode”: practice for meetings, interviews, or customer calls by importing a script or agenda and drilling the exact words you’ll say. It’s realistic: it won’t promise a native accent—only clearer speech and fewer misunderstandings.
