AccentForge

AccentForge is a mobile AI app for adult learners who can read and write a language but still sound “foreign” in meetings and interviews. It records short, targeted speaking drills (10–30 seconds), scores them against native benchmarks, and pinpoints the exact phonemes and prosody errors (stress, rhythm, intonation) that cause misunderstanding. Instead of generic conversation practice, it prescribes a daily micro-plan: minimal pairs, tongue placement cues, shadowing clips, and timed repetition until you hit a threshold. Users can import real phrases from their job (presentations, customer calls) and get a “clarity risk” score plus suggested rewrites that are easier to pronounce. Progress is tracked with before/after audio, intelligibility metrics, and a weekly “meeting readiness” check. This is not a fun game; it’s a training tool for sounding clear under pressure.
