AccessBuddy

AccessBuddy helps neurodivergent people (and their allies) request, document, and maintain reasonable accommodations at work or school without drowning in emails, vague promises, or awkward meetings. Users pick a goal (e.g., reduced meeting load, written instructions, quiet workspace), answer a short guided questionnaire, and the app generates a plain-language request plus an optional more formal version. It then tracks the workflow: who it was sent to, deadlines, meeting notes, what was agreed, and whether it’s actually happening. A simple check-in system flags when accommodations are slipping, and it can produce a one-page “status summary” for HR, managers, disability services, or a union rep. It’s not therapy and it won’t magically fix bad employers—but it will reduce friction, improve follow-through, and create a clean paper trail when things get messy.
