AccessDraft
AccessDraft is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that audits residential floor plans for universal design and basic accessibility issues before construction. Users upload a PDF plan or simple CAD export; the app guides them to calibrate scale and identify key elements (doors, stairs, bathrooms, kitchen, entries). It then runs a rules-based + AI-assisted checklist against common standards (clearances, turning radii, threshold heights, reach ranges, bathroom layouts, ramp slopes, lighting/contrast prompts) and outputs a punch-list with annotated markups and prioritized fixes. It’s not a code-compliance guarantee—it's a fast, practical “catch the obvious mistakes” tool for builders and homeowners who don’t want expensive redesigns later. Reports can be shared with architects/contractors and saved as project baselines for revisions.
