AccessPulse

AccessPulse is a mobile + web app that provides reliability-scored accessibility intel for real-world places (restaurants, clinics, transit stops, venues). Users and partner organizations submit structured, photo-backed reports on entrances, ramps, elevators, restroom layout, door widths, seating, noise, lighting, and temporary blockers (construction, broken lifts). The app turns messy reviews into a clear “Can I get in and function here?” answer with confidence levels, last-verified timestamps, and personalized filters (wheelchair, walker, cane, sensory, fatigue). It also supports route planning between verified-accessible points and lets businesses claim listings to publish updates and respond to issues. This is not a feel-good directory: it’s an accountability layer that prioritizes freshness and proof. The hard part is data quality and coverage, so the product is designed around incentives, verification, and partnerships rather than hoping for crowdsourcing magic.
