AccessPulse

AccessPulse is a mobile + web app that gives riders reliable, real-time accessibility status for public transit—elevators, escalators, ramps, platform gaps, and “step-free path” availability. Agencies often publish outage feeds, but they’re incomplete, delayed, or hard to interpret at the station-entrance level. AccessPulse combines official GTFS-RT alerts (when available) with rider-submitted confirmations, photo evidence, and time-stamped reliability scoring to answer one question: can I actually make this trip today? The app offers accessible routing that avoids broken elevators, highlights the best entrances, and warns when an “accessible” station still has barriers (like long detours or steep grades). It also provides a simple “report outage” flow that takes under 10 seconds, plus push alerts for your saved stations. This is an AI + traditional app (AI used to validate and rank reports, not to hallucinate routes).
