AccessTally
AccessTally is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams bot) that continuously audits who has access to sensitive datasets across cloud warehouses and BI tools, then turns the mess into an actionable governance to-do list. It connects to Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift and common identity providers to map roles, grants, group membership, and effective permissions into a simple “who-can-see-what” matrix. It flags risky patterns (public shares, stale service accounts, over-broad roles, orphaned users), tracks approvals, and produces audit-ready evidence with timestamps. This is not a full enterprise governance suite; it’s a focused access-governance layer that teams can deploy in days. The MVP prioritizes fast setup, clear remediation steps, and lightweight reporting that security and data teams can actually keep current instead of abandoning after the first audit.
