ActionSangha

ActionSangha is a mobile + web app that helps engaged Buddhists find, commit to, and actually follow through on community service and justice work without burning out. It aggregates local opportunities (mutual aid, climate cleanups, prison outreach, food distribution) and pairs them with short, tradition-agnostic practice prompts (pre-action intention, post-action reflection, right-speech check-ins). The app includes simple accountability: RSVP, reminders, and a lightweight “showed up” verification via organizer check-in or QR code at events. An AI assistant helps users choose causes aligned with their values, schedule realistically, and draft respectful outreach messages to organizers. It’s not a social network; it’s a practical coordination tool with optional small-group circles for ongoing commitment. Monetization is straightforward: organizer subscriptions for posting/management, plus optional individual memberships for advanced planning and guided reflections.
