AdBreakr

AdBreakr is a web app (with optional desktop ingest tool) that helps small and mid-sized broadcasters, FAST channels, and podcast/video networks automatically detect and validate ad break points in live streams and recorded content. It analyzes audio loudness shifts, silence windows, scene changes, and metadata cues (SCTE-35 when present) to propose break markers, then provides a simple review UI for an operator to approve, adjust, and export markers to downstream ad servers and playout systems. The goal is to reduce missed or poorly placed breaks that directly cost revenue and annoy viewers. It also flags compliance issues like inconsistent loudness (CALM-style), clipped audio, or missing cue tones that can break ad insertion. This is not a magic “set-and-forget” tool: it’s a practical assistant that makes operators faster and more consistent, with audit logs for ad ops teams.
