The app uses an always-updated schedule database plus crowd signals to predict when each channel is in an ad break vs. live content. You pick your favorite channels (sports, news, reality), and AdBreakSync shows a simple “Now: Ads / Content” status and a countdown to likely return-to-show. During live events, it highlights “safe switch” windows so you can hop to another channel without missing key plays or reveals. It also offers optional push alerts like “Game back in 30s” or “Show resumed.” This is not a DVR replacement; it’s a real-time decision tool for live viewing. The goal is fewer missed moments and less mindless zapping.
