AdProof

AdProof helps consumers and small businesses document and report misleading online advertising and dark-pattern checkout flows. It’s a web app + mobile companion that lets users capture a time-stamped “evidence packet” (screenshots, screen recording, page HTML, price/fee breakdown, and key claims) in one tap, then generates a clean complaint draft tailored to the right destination: FTC, state AG, platform ad network, or the merchant. An AI assistant highlights likely violations (e.g., hidden fees, fake scarcity, subscription traps) and suggests what additional proof is needed, but it doesn’t pretend to be a lawyer. Users can track outcomes, deadlines, and responses, and optionally share anonymized cases to build a public pattern library of repeat offenders. The product is realistic: it won’t magically win refunds, but it makes filing credible complaints fast and organized—something most people avoid because it’s tedious.
