ADUReady

ADUReady is a web + mobile app that tells homeowners and small builders whether an accessory dwelling unit (ADU) is realistically possible on a specific property—before they waste months and thousands on calls, sketches, and permit confusion. Users enter an address and answer a few questions (existing structures, parking, access). The app pulls parcel boundaries, zoning, setbacks, lot coverage, and utility constraints, then generates a plain-English feasibility summary with a confidence score, red flags, and next steps. It also produces a lightweight “permit-ready starter pack”: a checklist tailored to the jurisdiction, a rough size range, and a budget band based on local cost data. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional rules/geo checks plus AI to interpret messy municipal code text, summarize requirements, and draft checklists and emails to planners/contractors.
