It blends public model outputs (wind, mixing height, boundary-layer stability, precipitation probability) with nearby station data to produce a simple “risk + reason” forecast for smoke, dust, fog, and heat stress. The app focuses on interpretability: it shows what’s driving the forecast (e.g., inversion strength, wind shift timing) and what actions to take (reschedule, add shade, change route, mask recommendation).
