AidMinute

AidMinute is a mobile app (iOS/Android) that guides parents through the first 2–10 minutes of common child emergencies: choking, burns, allergic reactions, head bumps, poisoning, fever seizures, cuts, and CPR basics. It uses a fast decision tree with big buttons, timers, and “do this now” prompts, plus one-tap access to local emergency numbers and poison control. An optional AI layer helps translate a parent’s messy description (“she ate a bead and is coughing”) into the right pathway, but the actual instructions are locked to clinician-reviewed protocols to avoid hallucinations. The app also stores each child’s weight, allergies, meds, and pediatrician details for quick reference. Realistically, this wins only if it’s faster and more trustworthy than Googling, and if parents feel confident it won’t give dangerous advice.
