AidSwitch is a mobile + web app that helps borrowers choose and stay on the best student loan repayment path as their income and life change. Users connect their loan servicer data (or upload statements) and optionally link payroll/income. The app simulates repayment options (SAVE/IBR/PAYE, standard, graduated, refinancing) and shows total cost, time-to-payoff, forgiveness likelihood, and monthly payment volatility. It then monitors for triggers—income jumps, marriage, new dependents, recertification deadlines, interest rate changes, or policy updates—and recommends a switch with clear pros/cons and a one-click checklist. It’s not a “magic forgiveness” app; it’s a decision engine plus deadline management that prevents expensive mistakes like missing recertification, choosing the wrong plan, or refinancing when forgiveness is likely. Monetization: subscription plus optional paid consult marketplace for edge cases.
