AirSwap

AirSwap is a web + mobile app that helps public health teams and facility managers reduce airborne infection risk by prioritizing ventilation fixes where they matter most. It combines simple building inputs (room type, occupancy, HVAC basics, window access), optional low-cost CO2 sensor feeds, and local disease activity levels to generate a ranked action list: increase outdoor air, adjust schedules, add portable HEPA units, or move high-risk activities. The app produces plain-language, printable guidance for schools, shelters, clinics, and workplaces, plus a lightweight audit trail for compliance and funding justification. This is not a magic “risk score” app; it’s an operational decision tool that turns messy ventilation talk into concrete, trackable tasks. It also supports rapid “what-if” planning during surges (e.g., influenza, RSV, COVID) without requiring expensive engineering studies for every site.
