AlgaeAlert is a mobile + web AI app that helps aquarium keepers catch and correct algae problems early using simple photos and a few quick inputs (tank size, lighting schedule, recent test results). The app analyzes images to estimate algae type and coverage trend, then generates a realistic action plan: adjust photoperiod, nutrient targets, feeding tweaks, cleanup crew suggestions, and safe dosing reminders. It also tracks “before/after” progress with a timeline and flags when your changes aren’t working (e.g., phosphate bottoming out, unstable alkalinity, over-lighting). This is not a magic algae cure—results depend on user follow-through and accurate inputs—but it reduces guesswork and prevents the common cycle of random additives and overcorrections. Optional integrations let users import data from popular test kits via manual entry and set recurring checks.
