AllergenPour is a mobile + web app that helps bars, restaurants, and consumers quickly assess allergen and additive risk in wines and spirits. Users scan a label or barcode, then the app returns a clear, plain-language summary: likely allergens (e.g., sulfites, egg/fish fining agents), common additives, sweetness cues, and cross-contact warnings. For venues, it generates a shareable “guest-safe” card per product and a menu-ready allergen line. For consumers, it stores personal sensitivities and flags bottles that may trigger reactions. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI handles label parsing and fuzzy matching, while the database and rules engine provide deterministic, auditable outputs. The app is brutally practical: it won’t pretend to know what isn’t disclosed, and it will clearly label uncertainty when producer data is missing.
