AllerGuard

AllerGuard is a mobile + web AI-assisted allergy and dietary workflow for casual dining restaurants that reduces order mistakes and liability. Guests scan a QR code, select allergens/diet (e.g., peanuts, gluten, dairy, halal), and optionally add notes. The system maps requests to menu items and modifiers, flags cross-contact risks, and generates a clear “kitchen-safe” ticket that prints and appears on the KDS/POS as a high-visibility alert. Staff get a simple confirmation checklist (separate utensils, fryer status, sauce ingredients) and a required manager verification for high-risk allergens. Restaurants can maintain an ingredient library once, then reuse it across locations. The app also logs acknowledgements and incident reports to create an audit trail. This is not a full POS replacement; it’s a focused layer that plugs into existing operations.
