AllergyAngle is a mobile + web app for restaurant reviews focused on dietary safety and cross-contamination reality. Instead of generic star ratings, users rate specific risk factors: staff knowledge, allergen labeling, kitchen separation, and incident history. Reviews require structured fields (what allergen, what was ordered, what questions were asked, what the staff answered) plus optional photo proof of menus and allergen guides. The app highlights “reliability scores” for restaurants based on consistency across multiple reviewers and recency, not influencer-style posts. It also includes a simple pre-visit checklist and a shareable card with key questions to ask servers. This is an AI + traditional app: AI helps summarize patterns, detect contradictory claims, and flag suspicious reviews, but the core value comes from structured, verifiable reporting. It won’t replace medical advice; it reduces uncertainty for people who can’t afford mistakes.
