AllergyPing
AllergyPing is a mobile + web app that turns a child’s allergy and medical info into a shareable, always-current “care card” and emergency action flow. Parents create a profile (allergens, symptoms, meds, doctor, insurance, consent), then generate time-limited QR links for babysitters, relatives, schools, camps, and playdate hosts. Caregivers see plain-language do/don’t lists, photo ID of meds, dosing instructions, and a one-tap emergency sequence (call parent, call emergency services, share location, show epinephrine steps). The app includes a checklist for packing safe snacks and a reminder system for expiring epinephrine. It’s not a miracle: it won’t prevent every exposure, and schools may still follow their own protocols. But it reduces the common failure point—missing or outdated info—when kids are outside direct parental supervision.
