AllocAudit

AllocAudit is a web app for state and local finance teams to manage, validate, and document revenue-sharing allocations (sales tax, fuel tax, cannabis, lodging, PILT, and other statutory distributions). It ingests source data from state portals, CSVs, and ERP exports, then applies configurable formulas tied to statutes, population tables, and effective dates. The system produces an auditable trail: inputs, calculation steps, approvals, and final disbursement schedules, plus exception alerts when allocations deviate from expected ranges. It also generates standardized reports for councils, auditors, and public records requests, reducing spreadsheet chaos and “tribal knowledge” risk. This is not glamorous software; it’s compliance plumbing that prevents embarrassing errors, clawbacks, and audit findings. The MVP focuses on one state/program at a time, because nationwide coverage is expensive and slow without partnerships.
