AllocPulse is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams integration) for operations teams who constantly reshuffle people, hours, and budgets across projects. It ingests current work (Jira/Asana), time/availability (Google Calendar, HRIS exports), and basic financial constraints (rate cards, budget caps). Then it produces a feasible weekly allocation plan that respects skills, capacity, deadlines, and cost limits, with clear trade-offs when constraints collide. It’s a combination traditional + AI app: traditional optimization generates the plan, while AI explains why certain allocations were chosen and drafts stakeholder-ready change notes. The product is intentionally narrow: mid-market professional services, agencies, and internal IT/ops teams that don’t want a full PSA/ERP. Expect messy data and partial adoption—so the MVP focuses on “good enough” plans, fast what-if scenarios, and auditability rather than perfect forecasting.
