AlmsRoute

AlmsRoute is a mobile + web app for monasteries and lay supporters to coordinate daily alms rounds (pindapata) and meal offerings with less confusion and fewer last‑minute surprises. Monastics (or an appointed steward) can set routes, time windows, headcounts, dietary constraints, and “no-visit” requests; supporters can claim a slot, confirm portions, and receive simple reminders. The app focuses on low-friction logistics: offline-first maps, minimal data entry, and clear boundaries so it doesn’t feel like “Uber for monks.” It also includes a lightweight incident log (missed pickup, unsafe location, duplicate offering) to improve reliability over time. This is not a mass-market consumer app; it’s a niche operations tool that only works if it respects monastic culture and keeps the interface extremely simple.
