AlterPing

AlterPing is a mobile + web app that keeps formalwear alterations from derailing weddings, galas, and interviews. Users create an outfit timeline (event date, pickup date, first fitting, second fitting) and attach photos, measurements, and tailor notes. The app sends escalating reminders based on real lead times (e.g., suit hemming vs. full recut), flags risky schedules, and provides a simple checklist so nothing gets missed (shoes, belt, undergarments, steaming, backup options). Tailors can be invited via a lightweight link to confirm dates, request clarifications, and upload “ready for pickup” photos—no full account required. It also stores a reusable “fit profile” (inseam, sleeve, preferred break) so repeat events get faster. This is not glamorous; it’s operational, and that’s the point.
