AltTestMap

AltTestMap is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps R&D, QA, and regulatory teams quickly identify validated non-animal testing methods and the vendors/CROs that can run them. Users search by endpoint (e.g., skin irritation, genotox), industry (cosmetics, chemicals, pharma), region, and regulatory acceptance (OECD TG, ICCVAM, EURL ECVAM). The app outputs a practical shortlist: method summary, required equipment, expected cost/time ranges, validation status, and links to protocols and accredited providers. It also flags “not yet accepted” methods so teams don’t waste months chasing something regulators won’t accept. This is a traditional app with light AI: an AI assistant summarizes dense validation documents and maps user needs to relevant test guidelines, but all claims are sourced and auditable. The goal is fewer animal studies by removing procurement and compliance friction.
