AmendAlert

AmendAlert is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that monitors legislative documents and flags meaningful changes between bill versions, amendments, committee substitutes, and conference reports. Instead of forcing policy teams to manually diff PDFs at 11pm, it generates a clean redline view, a short change summary, and a “who/when” timeline of updates. It also maps changes to your tracked issues (e.g., tax credits, licensing, procurement thresholds) and triggers alerts when language crosses predefined thresholds (like a dollar amount, effective date, or a specific clause). This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional ingestion, versioning, and audit trails; AI to classify sections, summarize deltas, and route alerts to the right stakeholder. It’s realistic because it focuses on a narrow, high-frequency workflow: version comparison and rapid triage, not “predicting politics.”
