AmendTrack

AmendTrack is a web app (with optional desktop add-in) for legislative counsel and committee staff to draft, revise, and reconcile bills without losing control of versions. It provides structured bill sections, amendment objects, and a timeline of changes that can be compared across committee substitutes, engrossed versions, and floor amendments. The AI layer flags internal conflicts (e.g., two amendments changing the same clause), broken cross-references, inconsistent defined terms, and likely renumbering issues before the bill is published. It also generates clean redlines and side-by-side comparisons in formats staff actually need (Word/PDF plus a canonical structured format). This is not a “write my bill” toy; it’s a workflow tool that reduces late-night errors, speeds reconciliation, and creates an audit trail that survives staff turnover and political churn.
