AmphiPermit

AmphiPermit is a mobile + web compliance app for salamander/newt fieldwork that turns messy permitting and survey documentation into a defensible audit trail. It helps biologists and consultants plan surveys (site, dates, methods), capture standardized observations (life stage, microhabitat, effort, weather), and automatically package deliverables required by agencies or clients. The app emphasizes evidence: GPS tracks, time-stamped photos, offline forms, and a chain-of-custody log for any handling, tissue swabs, or eDNA samples (who collected, transferred, stored, shipped). It generates export-ready PDFs/CSVs aligned to common agency reporting formats and internal QA checklists. This is not a “fun ID app”; it’s boring on purpose—built to reduce rework, missed details, and compliance risk. AI is used only to draft reports from structured data and to flag missing fields before submission.
