AnalectsNow is a mobile app (iOS/Android) that delivers a short, high-quality passage from the Analects each day with plain-language context, a modern scenario, and one concrete action to try. It’s an AI-assisted app: AI helps generate reflection prompts and personalized practice suggestions, but every passage, translation, and commentary set is curated and edited to avoid hallucinations and shallow “quote wallpaper.” Users can save notes, track which virtues they’re practicing (ren, yi, li, zhi, xin), and build a small routine: read (1 minute), reflect (2 minutes), act (1 action). The app also includes a “conversation prep” mode for difficult situations (work feedback, family conflict, leadership decisions) that maps the situation to relevant passages and suggests non-cringey, culturally neutral language. Monetization is a subscription for advanced commentary packs, offline library, and guided practice plans.
