AnchorNest

AnchorNest is a mobile app (with an optional web dashboard) for people who need a practical “safe space” toolkit: quick self-check-ins, boundary scripts, and a lightweight safety plan they can actually use. Users set up a personal “Anchor Plan” (trusted contacts, safe locations, code words, and escalation steps) and can trigger timed check-ins that quietly notify a chosen person if they don’t respond. It also includes a “Debrief” journal to log incidents with timestamps and attachments, stored locally by default with optional encrypted backup. This isn’t therapy and it won’t magically stop harm; it’s a structured way to reduce panic, document patterns, and make it easier to ask for help. The app avoids social feeds and public communities to reduce harassment and leakage, focusing on privacy, speed, and clarity when someone is stressed.
