AngleScout

AngleScout is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that helps sports writers, podcasters, and social teams turn raw sports news into publishable angles fast. It ingests schedules, box scores, injury reports, press conferences, beat tweets, and team announcements, then clusters them into “story threads” (e.g., lineup change + matchup history + coach quote). For each thread it generates: a neutral summary, 5–10 headline options, a list of verifiable sources, and a set of suggested questions to ask in scrums. It also flags what’s actually new vs recycled, and warns when a claim is unverified or based on a single source. This is not a magic “write my article” tool; it’s a research and planning assistant that saves time and reduces mistakes. Monetization: per-seat subscriptions for small media outlets and creators.
