APIChangelog

APIChangelog is a web app (with optional CLI) that continuously monitors third-party APIs your product depends on and flags risky changes early. It runs scheduled contract tests against key endpoints, compares responses to your saved baseline schema, and detects subtle breakages like field removals, type changes, new required params, auth scope changes, and pagination shifts. When something drifts, it creates a human-readable “what changed” report, links to the exact request/response diffs, and opens a ticket in Jira/Linear or posts to Slack. It also tracks vendor status pages and release notes, correlating incidents with your observed failures. This is not a full API testing suite; it’s a focused dependency-risk monitor for teams shipping integrations. Pricing can be per monitored API and environment, with a free tier for one integration to drive adoption.
