AppealPilot is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps homeowners and small landlords decide whether a property tax appeal is worth it, then prepares a ready-to-file appeal packet. Users enter an address, upload their assessment notice, and the app pulls comparable sales, flags obvious assessment errors (square footage, beds/baths, condition), and estimates likely savings versus filing effort. It generates jurisdiction-specific forms, a concise evidence summary, and a hearing script/checklist. It also tracks deadlines and sends reminders so users don’t miss the narrow appeal window. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional workflows for compliance and document generation, AI to extract data from notices, summarize comps, and draft arguments. It’s not magic—many appeals won’t qualify—but it makes the “should I bother?” decision fast and the paperwork less painful.
