AppFit is a web + mobile app that helps landlords and property managers pre-qualify applicants before running full applications or paid screenings. Applicants answer a short, standardized questionnaire (income range, move-in date, occupants, pets, smoking, credit-band self-attestation, prior evictions, and required documents). The system generates a shareable “Fit Pass” link that can be reused across listings for 30 days, reducing repeated form-filling. For landlords, AppFit ranks applicants against the listing’s stated criteria and flags mismatches (e.g., income-to-rent ratio, occupancy limits) without pretending to be a credit bureau. It includes built-in consent capture, audit logs, and configurable criteria templates per property. This is not a magic fairness solution; it’s a practical triage tool to cut down on back-and-forth, ghosting, and unqualified showings while keeping decisions transparent and consistent.
