AppliancePulse is a mobile + web app (traditional + AI) that monitors kitchen appliances using smart plugs and optional clip-on vibration/temperature sensors to predict failures and reduce downtime. It learns each appliance’s normal power draw and operating cycles (dishwasher, fridge, espresso machine, induction cooktop) and flags anomalies like compressor short-cycling, heating element inefficiency, or unusually long run times. Users get plain-English alerts, DIY checks, and a “call a pro” flow with pre-filled diagnostics to speed repairs. For small restaurants and serious home cooks, it also tracks energy cost by appliance and suggests operational tweaks (defrost schedule, gasket checks, filter changes). This is not a magical “works with every appliance” platform; it’s a pragmatic monitoring layer that works best on appliances with consistent electrical signatures and clear failure patterns.
