ARBackstage is a mixed-reality companion for live music and comedy venues that overlays stage visuals, interactive props, and audience-triggered effects through phones and supported headsets. Venues upload a “show pack” (visual cues, timed moments, sponsor overlays, and optional mini-games) that syncs to the performance via a simple audio fingerprint and manual cue button. Audience members scan a QR code at the door, point at the stage, and see coordinated effects that feel like part of the show—without requiring expensive LED walls or custom hardware. Creators can sell premium packs, and venues can monetize via sponsorship slots and ticket add-ons. This is entertainment-first MR that works today because it leans on devices people already have and keeps the setup lightweight for busy staff.
