ArcAudit
ArcAudit is a web app that stress-tests a story’s structure using a clear, non-magical checklist approach plus optional AI-assisted analysis. Writers paste a synopsis or chapter outline, then map scenes to goals, conflict, turning points, stakes, and cause-effect links. The app flags common structural failures: missing reversals, flat midpoint, weak escalation, scenes without consequences, and character arcs that don’t change. Instead of generating prose, it produces a “structure report” with specific questions and fix options (e.g., add a cost here, move this reveal earlier, combine these redundant beats). It also tracks versions so writers can compare structure improvements over time. This is realistically useful because it focuses on diagnosis and revision planning, not pretending to write the book for you. It’s a combination traditional app + AI app (AI is optional).
