ArguMint
ArguMint is a mobile + web app that helps people map real-world moral and philosophical disagreements into structured arguments, then stress-test them for hidden assumptions, contradictions, and weak inferences. Users paste a claim (from a conversation, article, or policy proposal), add supporting reasons, and the app builds an argument tree with common fallacy checks and counterargument prompts. An AI assistant can propose alternative premises, steelman opposing views, and generate “what would change your mind?” questions, but users must approve every node so it doesn’t become hallucination-driven. The app includes small guided exercises based on major ethical frameworks (virtue ethics, deontology, consequentialism) without pretending there’s one correct answer. Exportable debate briefs and classroom-friendly templates make it useful for students, writers, and teams trying to make decisions under value conflict.
