AriaBuddy
AriaBuddy is a mobile app (with a lightweight web companion) that gives opera and classical concertgoers a fast, spoiler-light “what to listen for” briefing tailored to the exact performance and cast. Users select their venue/date or scan a ticket, then get a 5-minute pre-show pack: plot in plain language, character map, recurring musical themes, and a short etiquette/venue guide. During intermission it offers a quick recap and “what you just heard” highlights. It can optionally generate a simplified synopsis for first-timers or a deeper musicology note set for enthusiasts. Monetization is realistic: B2B partnerships with venues (white-labeled program notes + upsell to donors) and a consumer subscription for premium packs and offline access. Brutal truth: it won’t be a unicorn—classical is niche—but it can be a solid, defensible small business if it wins venue distribution.
