ARPlanCheck

ARPlanCheck is a mobile AR app for construction and facilities teams to verify “as-built” reality against design intent. Users import 2D plans or lightweight 3D models, then align them on-site using visual anchors and QR markers. The app overlays key dimensions, MEP routes, and clearance zones so a foreman can quickly spot conflicts (e.g., duct vs. beam, door swing vs. equipment) before rework happens. It generates a punch-list with annotated AR screenshots, location tags, and severity, then exports to common workflows (PDF + CSV, or direct sync to issue trackers). This is not magic: alignment won’t be perfect, and it won’t replace a survey. But it can reliably catch the obvious, expensive misses during rough-in and fit-out, when fixes are still cheap.
