ArtRoute is a mobile + web app that helps people discover gallery and museum exhibitions that are actually open, nearby, and worth the trip—without relying on stale listings. It combines verified hours, ticketing links, accessibility info, and real-time “open now” confidence based on venue updates and crowd-sourced check-ins. Users can build a 1–3 hour route (solo or with friends), filter by medium (painting, photography, video, sculpture), and save exhibitions to a personal calendar. Galleries get a lightweight portal to post show details, upload 5–10 images, and push last-minute changes (openings, closures, sold-out time slots). The AI layer summarizes exhibitions into plain-language previews and generates route options based on walking time, interests, and constraints (kid-friendly, free entry, wheelchair access). The goal is simple: reduce wasted trips and make art-going feel effortless.
