AssetHandoff is a web + mobile app for capturing clean, auditable asset context at the exact moments it gets lost: shift changes, contractor visits, and vendor service calls. Instead of relying on scattered notes in CMMS work orders, it provides a structured “handoff packet” per asset: last known condition, photos, meter readings, safety status, temporary bypasses, and what was tried. Field techs can scan a QR/NFC tag, answer a short guided checklist, attach photos/video, and get an instant summary for the next person. Supervisors review and approve handoffs, creating a defensible trail for compliance and warranty disputes. It integrates with major EAM/CMMS tools to push key fields back into the system of record, without trying to replace it. This is not glamorous—but it targets a daily operational failure that costs real downtime.
