AssetWill

AssetWill is a web + mobile app that helps people create a practical “digital asset will” for accounts, crypto wallets, domains, and stored files—without pretending to replace a lawyer. Users build an inventory, assign beneficiaries, and set step-by-step instructions for access and transfer. The app stores sensitive details using end-to-end encryption and supports dead-man’s-switch style check-ins; if the owner stops responding, the app releases pre-approved instructions to chosen contacts (not raw passwords by default). It also generates a lawyer-friendly export (PDF + structured JSON) to attach to estate plans. The product is realistic about limitations: it can’t force platforms to transfer accounts, and it won’t magically bypass terms of service. Instead, it focuses on reducing the most common failure: families having no idea what exists, where it is, or what to do next.
