Referees set availability, travel radius, and preferred levels; assignors publish games and crews; the system auto-suggests the best-fit officials and handles confirmations with deadlines. When someone drops, AssignMint triggers an “urgent fill” workflow that pings a ranked bench, tracks responses, and locks the slot when accepted. It also keeps a lightweight reliability score (late cancels, no-shows, on-time confirmations) to help assignors make better decisions without turning it into a punitive surveillance tool. This isn’t a rules-quiz app; it’s logistics, accountability, and fewer headaches.
