AsyncProof

AsyncProof is a web + desktop app (Slack/Teams add-on) that turns messy remote decisions into a searchable, auditable “decision log.” Instead of another task tool, it focuses on the moment teams break: who decided what, why, and when. It auto-captures decision candidates from chat threads, docs, and meeting notes, then prompts the owner to confirm: decision, options considered, tradeoffs, and follow-ups. Each decision gets a permanent link, lightweight approvals, and a “blast radius” field (who is impacted). New hires and cross-functional partners can browse decisions by project, team, or keyword and see the context without scheduling a call. Realistically, this won’t replace Jira/Notion; it complements them by preventing re-litigation and reducing recurring meetings. The product lives or dies on tight integrations and frictionless capture, not fancy dashboards.
