AtashTutor

AtashTutor is a mobile app (iOS/Android) that helps Zoroastrians and curious learners practice core prayers and liturgical phrases with accurate pronunciation support. The app provides short, structured lessons for commonly used prayers (e.g., Ashem Vohu, Yatha Ahu Vairyo), broken into lines with transliteration, meaning, and audio from vetted community reciters. An AI-assisted “listen and score” mode gives immediate feedback on rhythm and phonemes, but it’s intentionally conservative: it flags likely issues and suggests re-listening rather than pretending to be a perfect teacher. Offline packs make it usable in fire temples or low-connectivity settings. The goal isn’t to replace priests or formal instruction—it's to reduce embarrassment, improve consistency at home, and help diaspora families teach kids without needing a local expert on-demand.
