AuditPulse
AuditPulse is a web app (with optional desktop agent) that turns messy EHR audit logs into actionable, defensible access reviews. Most hospitals technically have audit trails, but they’re unusable at scale: too many events, inconsistent fields, and no clear way to prove “appropriate access” during investigations. AuditPulse ingests audit exports from major EHRs, normalizes them, and flags high-risk patterns like VIP record access, after-hours snooping, repeated lookups without clinical context, and unusual peer-group behavior. It provides case workflows for compliance teams: assign, request attestation, document findings, and export an audit-ready report. This is a combination traditional + AI app: rules handle known policy checks, while lightweight anomaly detection and clustering reduce false positives and triage workload. It’s realistic: it doesn’t promise perfect intent detection—just faster, better-documented reviews with fewer manual spreadsheets.
