Instead of trying to replace TurboTax, it plugs into what people already use by importing a draft return (PDF) or key numbers, then runs a “risk scan” for common red flags (mismatched 1099s, unusually high Schedule C expenses, repeated losses, large charitable claims, home office patterns). It outputs a plain-English risk report, a checklist of supporting documents to gather, and a “defensibility score” per line item. If you’re missing proof, it suggests acceptable evidence types and lets you store them in a secure vault with timestamps. It also generates an audit-ready packet (organized, labeled) you can hand to a CPA or keep for yourself. It’s not magic: it won’t guarantee safety, but it reduces dumb, avoidable exposure.
